Project: Mary Ellen Scholarship Program

Problem: Currently, 75% of the applicants to the Mary Ellen Scholarships are seeking financial assistance for mental health. With Idaho being well above the national average for suicide rates, it is essential to assist as many patients as possible with their mental health needs. The Mary Ellen Fund will help improve access to care by reducing the financial barrier that patients can face.

Solution: The Scholarship program will reduce or cover the entire cost of patient care to selected individuals for a period of time. This grant will provide care to a further 83 patients within 12 months of approval. Scholarship receivers will obtain access to either a 90-day treatment plan of mental health services, dental treatment plans, a year of medical services, including in-house labs or a combination of all three – depending on need and budget.

Capture Cares is committed to continuing with its efforts to enable the missions of covered entities.
